Dua When Sick or Ill
SAHIHاللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ النَّاسِ أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ اشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا
O Allah, Lord of mankind, remove the harm. Heal, for You are the Healer. There is no healing except Your healing, a healing that leaves no illness.
Dua When Visiting a Sick Person
SAHIHلَا بَأْسَ طَهُورٌ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ
No harm will come to you. It will be a purification, if Allah wills.
Dua for Self-Ruqyah (Healing Recitation)
SAHIHبِسْمِ اللَّهِ أَرْقِيكَ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ يُؤْذِيكَ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ نَفْسٍ أَوْ عَيْنٍ حَاسِدٍ اللَّهُ يَشْفِيكَ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ أَرْقِيكَ
In the name of Allah I perform ruqyah for you, from everything that harms you, from the evil of every soul or envious eye. Allah heals you; in the name of Allah I perform ruqyah for you.
Dua for Good Health and Wellbeing
HASANاللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِي فِي بَدَنِي اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِي فِي سَمْعِي اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِي فِي بَصَرِي
O Allah, grant me health in my body. O Allah, grant me health in my hearing. O Allah, grant me health in my sight.
Dua for Pain Relief (Hand on Affected Area)
SAHIHبِسْمِ اللَّهِ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ وَقُدْرَتِهِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا أَجِدُ وَأُحَاذِرُ
In the name of Allah (×3). I seek refuge in Allah and in His power from the evil of what I feel and what I fear.
Dua for a Sick Person – Recited 7 Times
SAHIHأَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ الْعَظِيمَ رَبَّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ أَنْ يَشْفِيَكَ
I ask Allah the Almighty, Lord of the Magnificent Throne, to cure you. (Recited 7 times when visiting a sick Muslim.)
Dua for Complete Wellbeing ('Afiyah)
SAHIHاللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ
O Allah, I ask You for pardon and well-being in this world and in the Hereafter.
